French producer VAPA creates melodic and trancy shades of progressive techno. Both punchy and reflective, his music invites movement, but also contemplation. It hits both the body and the mind. Driving and physical, yet introspective at its core.

Launched in Cologne in 2021, where he spent four years immersed in club culture, VAPA developed a sound that fuses German precision with French emotional depth. Now based in Angers, his productions explore themes like solitude, consciousness, and escape – shaped by an elegant, textured palette.

His music resonates far beyond France’s electronic scene. VAPA has performed at major festivals including Transmusicales, MaMA Festival, FIMU, and more. His work has also found a strong presence in large-scale visual productions: he has composed bespoke soundtracks for live and drone shows worldwide, including the musical climax of Ushuaïa Dubai’s opening drone show in October 2024, directed by Romain Pissenem, and the New Year’s Eve 2025 drone show at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, directed by Christophe Berthonneau (Groupe F).

VAPA’s work has earned support from artists such as Joris Voorn, Rebuke, Mariano Mellino, Brigado Crew and Alfa Romero, and has been featured on leading playlists including Spotify’s Electronic Rising, Fresh Finds Dance, and Beatport’s Dancefloor Essentials. He also hosts the monthly radio show Passion Kick, spotlighting underground melodic techno labels such as Three Six Zero Recordings, Simulate Recordings, Arcane Music, Upperground and many more.

With collaborations including Yulia Niko, You Man, and Philipp Wolf, VAPA continues to shape a bold yet introspective signature – melodic, analog-rich, and club-ready. His techno is made to move you – and stay with you.
